Wangfujing is Beijing's most famous commercial street — a 730-metre pedestrian boulevard in the city center lined with department stores, international brands, and the adjacent Wangfujing Snack Street where skewered scorpions and silk worms attract curious visitors. The street has been a commercial center since the Yuan dynasty and anchors Beijing's most central shopping district.
