Calle Oeste de Yangshuo

West Street (Xijie) in Yangshuo is China's oldest backpacker destination — a 500-metre pedestrian street of bars, cafés, and guesthouses that has welcomed independent travelers since the late 1970s. While thoroughly tourist-oriented today, it retains an easygoing international atmosphere and serves as the base for organizing cycling, rock climbing, and Li River adventures.
