City
Where imperial grandeur meets modern China
Home to six UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Beijing rewards visitors with an unmatched depth of culture and history. The Great Wall stretches across the mountains north of the city, while the Temple of Heaven stands as a masterpiece of Ming architecture. The city's culinary scene — from Peking Duck to street-level jianbing — is as compelling as its monuments, and Beijing's contemporary art scene, centered around the 798 Art District, pulses with creative energy.
